Since when? The only thing mentioned about high ports is the big block heads except they did give them the Ford A460 heads with no penalty unlike here.

I am sure the rule is not to hurt the average racer's combo, but you of all people know the true potential of a high port canted valve head. Again, lobby to allow your combo and get your dog in the hunt. I am sure it is easier to then lobby for more once you are in the class and racing than it is to say, I might show if you allow this or that.
It would really be cool to see your car run around here as I used to have your magazine articles on my wall when I was a kid. Even if you think my favorite class of the past isn't really a racing class...
I wouldn't call them raised runners. Again, I think you are getting some heads confused. Yates heads C3 are not canted valve heads. Have you ever seen a set of CFE Pro King heads by Tex275 rules those heads would be legal. They are a inline valve head. They can flow 425+ thats far more than any old school Yates heads that i've ever seen or used. All im saying is maybe the rule makers need to do alittle homework before they ban a certain combo. I just can't get over how rediculous the rule is. You cant use a certain head if its forced inducted but you can if it has nitrous. BTW thanks for the compliment!!! Also I wasn't t trying to bash True Street, I used to love watching those cars run back in the day!!
I just meant it wasn't a real eliminator type class.

the ProKings would NOT be legal as they are 10 degree heads with forced induction but they would be with nitrous.

The real deal is that they put a minimum 15 degrees on the small block forced induction heads except for the LS heads so all of the Yates style or the SC1 heads would not be allowed due to that in addition to their valve cant. As everyone in the organization knows I want to run the SC1 or yates heads for the structural integrity as much as anything. These darn inline heads move around too much with the 10 bolts under boost. Our old (5 year ago) victor heads flowed 390+ so the flow potential is not really an issue with any of these heads. Heck the last turbo motor's heads were out of the box cnc street heads and I think they could run with anybody for a limited lifespan. Yates/Sc1's aren't legal so we will not run them, end of story.

I do feel every combo can run 4.90's (granted some have 4.70 potential in perfect conditions but the fastest cars dont always win) and faster if tuned correctly. Horsepower is not an issue with most everyone out there. Look at the mph. Our mph's match up with what other parts of the country are running with no nitrous limits except they are getting down the track better. Our tracks are coming around here getting a handle of the radial prep and you will see consistant 1.teen 60 foots and faster front halfs due to track prep and trusting the tire and the car's setup.

          Like I said, stupid rules!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW Yates, Brodix, SC 1's are no better I have run them all. They all move around and constantly need fresh head gaskets and valve jobs. So dont waste your money. You need a set of billets for that. Good luck! We will stick with Mikes rules for outlaw
