Well not really mine. Its my step moms car. My dad and step mom usually goes out to the track on sundays , early sunday. They are all about going out there and having fun.

For the car its a 99gt,
Stock motor
3.73
Kenne bell 1.7
4r70w with a small stall
60 lb injector with a stock fuel pump lol
Stock headers with x pipe
Fuel pump is about to get changed.
and tuning from Josh at JKS performance

Ran a. 7.40@ 92 with a 1.63 60ft.

Its on a safe tune. Once the fuel pump is changed adding more timing but still keeping it safe.

It nearly doesn't pay to build any kind of hot rod when the new cars are so freaking fast. Your car runs damn good but a kid w/ a new gt and a few bolt ons is faster. Brian a Lonestar told me that they took a new gt w/ an automatic, 4.10 gears, exhaust, cia, and a tune. It went 7.30@96. Thats just sick.

That is crazy! My Heads Cam LS1 runs 7.0 to 7.1s & to think all a 2011 Bolt on GT with a 3800 hundred stall & 100 shot would run mid 6s all day with AC to BOOT!

oh yea the new cars now days are just sick. They almost need to come factory with a roll bar in them just to be able to run at the tracks.

I'm very impressed on what they have done with them. I'm still waiting to see a new 5.0 in a fox body coupe.

true that is sick but unless u got the money it is nice to have alittle bit of an older car that is paid for. but it is all in what u can afford and what u want to do
