  • Kennedale on sunday

Had a good time at the track today. Took out acustomers car that we just got done building. Its a full weight 2001 transam with a built 346, stock heads, turbo kit with a precision 76, and a built 4l80. We only have half of the fuel systwm done, so we could only run 4psi of boost. On 17inch zr1 wheels, and 4psi..it ran 7.0 @ 100mph. We just got a nasty fuel tank and weldon 2345 pump in, which will go on next week. We are also switching from pump gas 93 to e85. We have a set of 17inch alumistars for the front and champion wheels for the back with 275mickys for the next trip to the track. Can't wait to see what it runs on 16 to 18psi!

Some guy at the track wanted to line up...a new black z06 on nice wheels with spray. It was fast, but 4psi was too much for him..I go the win light on that one

I hear its slightly more aerodynamic since being buffed out... Cuts thru the air like a knife in hot butter.

I took the transam back out to Kennadale last night. It was alittle too cold to hook, but the car still ran OK. Full weight Ta, with 17inch hoosiers on Zr1 wheels...6.33 @ 116mph. Hopefully we can catch a day thats alittle warmer, so I can give the car alittle more power out of the hole. And get some real tires on it.

Let's see the turbo kit, Chris. That's a hell of a mph.
