      The F4TE block is a badass for sure. This is the block I have now. I bought it for $950 on eBay a couple years ago.

                  I split several 302 roller blocks. Some of the cracked 302 blocks were run on a 150shot combined with the roots on race gas before I switched to alky.

                  After changing to the 351w I backed the timing way up to eliminate detonation. 19 total fixed. I have 12 lbs at 3800 with my smallest pully. ( 6 different pullys). On my current motor, a 72 block, I run 12.5 cr tfs pistons, eagle hbeams and a stock crank ( never had a stock crank fail)

                  The car isn't legal to run faster than 6.39. I've run 5.78. I know I could go quicker but being a bracket racer, I have no need to.

                  All of my blocks have shown signs of cap walk. ARP main bolts. The main bearings have worn the worst. I've had the car since 1996. Never broke a 351w block. I ran some of these motors for 3 years racing every weekend.

                      Lol.....stay on the gas ? My car went to the left.... what was i supposed to do , take the tree out and then get off the gas? I'll run anything u have fucked with? Dont bring a KOTH car either, mines just a little pump gas street car.

                              A 351W has a 3 inch main diameter, cut it to 2.749 (351C) and many problems go away. Just too much surface speed at above 8000 rpms.
