The F4TE block is a badass for sure. This is the block I have now. I bought it for $950 on eBay a couple years ago.

The car isn't legal to run faster than 6.39. I've run 5.78. I know I could go quicker but being a bracket racer, I have no need to.
All of my blocks have shown signs of cap walk. ARP main bolts. The main bearings have worn the worst. I've had the car since 1996. Never broke a 351w block. I ran some of these motors for 3 years racing every weekend.Last edited by jyro; 06-01-2012, 08:46 AM.Don't worry about what you can't change.
