That's a lot of horsepower and cylinder pressure for that block. It does sound as if it has some detonation going on if it ate the bearings after six passes.903-870-8109

cap walk?
check the parting ends on the caps for signs of cap walk. You could be elongating the main bolts enough to lose oil to the mains. The rod bearings would show that too. detonation is a monsterDon't worry about what you can't change.

8100 on windsor bearings will toast them quick...too much bearing surface going too fast per revolution. Sounds like the 8100 was an accident but if you are going to spin it like that, get a block with cleveland mains. Then you can spin the shit out of it!
