Thanks brooks! I had an absolute blast. My short game was spot on tonight but up top needs some fine tuning. Hit 6's, hit a new PB 1.61 60' on bone stock suspension with a hand full of 1.7X 60's and I didn't break........even though my last pass I swore I did

Thanks guys, I'm glad you all could make it. The turnout was kinda bunk, mainly due to the crandall race bieng booked at the same time and the holiday weekend.

I'm sorry for not bieng overly-conversational last night, it was the appropriate ending and just my luck, after several weeks of working on the car day in and day out... only to have an alternator that didn't live up to the task, that and coupled with some sort of stomach nastiness, hotter than hell in a driving suit etc..

I guess running 6.60@117 with the power coming on at 300-400ft wasn't too bad. I was more happy to see the car go straight under power and that it actually stopped like it should. I didn't have any reason think otherwise, but since the car just had a complete makeover..I'd rather 'take it easy'.

even though there was a low turn out i had alot of fun. my car ran decent it has a lot more in it some more tuning to come now that it is hooking good.. Dave hope to see you and dougs cars out soon so we can line them up and have some fun! my last pass was throwed off by fresh vht on the track my fan switch took a shit on me and temp went to 230 and then my microswitch didnt come on but thats racing!. thanx brooks as usual for making it happen look forward to the next one at denton.

You're all welcome for the firework show my engine decided put on later in the evening. Upon inspection I found the dist. hold down loose, and the marks at the base no longer lined up. Took out the #5 piston, both deck surfaces and the gasket.
