ls vs fox

ok,ok... Many of you know I am the self-proclaimed king of foxes but with all of the s**t talking about magical ls cars and f bodies and the like I bought a '99 formula. I am taking it to the track tonight with low expectations with the thought in my mind of how my last 15 mustangs did on their first outing. Car is a 3.42 geared auto, flowmaster, no cats, pro products alum intake, rear relocators, lid, no egr or air components. Post guesses of how you think it will run. Most foxes will squeak out an 8.80 in the eigth is this is not considerably better its for sale! (yes it looks slow) (no tit pics)

If your going to Speeder Creek, Then I predict 8.80s with a 2.2 60ft @ 82 mph. With traction prolly closer to 8.70s maybe squeak out a 8.69 @ 83mph

But that track sucks for traction, Best time I got out of my Vette and spining & best 60ft was a 2.3 60ft & 8.80 @ 85 mph. On Drag Radials I could see 8.60s

My 99 stock ran a 8.4@84 and a 13.1 @ 109.8 (same and only pass stock) with a granny 2.29 60 (didn't get on it till after tree because didn't want to hop on runflats). Drove another 99 the same night and ran identical time at each interval.

8.50 @ 84 on street tires. Not too bad for the first time out.

it's not phenomenal; they did prep the track last night. When are you gonna bust that coupe out?? I see good things in it's future.

update just for good measure- added lt headers, 3k stall and drag radials = 8.13 @ 85 mph. Way quicker but where is the mph? I am hoping for 7.90's in this cooler air.

the 3K stall is like the smalliest stall for a LS1 but is the car tuned?
