Minaml gains?!? 30rw hp through the range is very far from minaml gains on a bolton car. On fi cars, we gain 100rw over pump gas all the time. We have even made huge gains over c16. For gas that's 2dollars a gallon...its a miracle fuel for powerfull cars. And its doesn't use twice as much...its more like 25per to 30per. But most cars that we install it on make 700rw plus...so the allure of full power all the time far out weighs any mpg concerns.
30 rear wheel has been the average on anything n/a I have done. You should Poor on some nitromethane and see what it says. It's heavy enough in very small percentages it brings it's own enrichment all the way up to about 8%. 8-10%+ you will need to adjust the map. a little goes a long way. you need 1 gallon nitro to make 10 gallons of 10%

I have run up to 30% nitro in E85 on hyper pistons in a stock .030 over 350 was good for over 200+ laps @ 7,200+ twice a lap, before it jerked a wrist pin out.
I Tuned a twisted wedge 347 s trim with a 2.95, conservative tune, makes 630ish rear wheel on 10% & E85.
im really curious on how much the new Boss 302 will do with CNC'd heads, a new intake, and new cams ontop of the 5.0 TiVCT platform. Will we see 500rwhp on E85?
as nice as it would be to run E85 in my 98, there's not a single station I know of in my area
You can maybe get a hold of some farm grade in drums. 100 micron filter and a pump and you're good to go. A guy I know in Kansas does that, it equals out to around $1.10 a gallon, He said he returns the empty drum and pays like $65 for another full one.
EDIT: Here's what he said
I have also found several options for getting "non tanked" E85 - one is to find a Co-op selling it local to you, buy from them in 55 gal drums - they will be licensed to "blend", and Most likely it's sold as Farm grade - you need to have a drum pump with a 100 micron filter on it for "farm grade" and it usually runs about 1.10 a gal + a drum fee (One time deposit 100.00-150.00 usually). Once you finish it, bring back empty drum, trade $60.75 and your empty drum for - a full drum. Go home, fill up, eat babies, refill and repete untill you need to do the "Once you finish it" step again.
Thats the problem. Finding it. Haven't checked lately, but there was a station on every side of dallas, but very n,s,e,w of dallas, and nothing in dallas.
Who supplies "farm grade" in drums in the dfw area? Will Panda sell to the public?

I'm not sure, I don't even know where to start checking for that.
A Grade more consistent Specific Gravity then the shit at the pump fluctuating all the time would be nice. I'm looking for as close to 100 percent I can get in a drum without alcohol tax.
So let me get this straight...It made 422hp/385tq with the mods listed above and went to 453hp/421tq simply by adding E85 (and increasing the timing)? 31hp/36tq...dayumm! I live a mile from the Kroger on Hebron. A new GT just got economical!
