I went on the charity cruise yesterday. Sixty miles of twisty countryback roads high sprited cruising and it was a blast! I couldn't talk the wife into two days of car stuff in a row. haha.

Doing a few mods wakes them up. Mannys Auto 5.0 with Cold air, catback, H-pipe, and tune ran a 11.84@116.7 on 18 inch drag radials on stock wheels. Thats full weight run out at Crandall last year.

We all went out there yesterday. My first pass right of the highway was 12.95 @ 108MPH with a 2.06 sixty.

My car is stock with only 1600 miles and the GT500 axlebacks. Weighed 3705 with me and a quarter tank of gas.

My best pass:
60.....2.05
1/8....8.36@88.88MPH
1/4....12.75@111.22MPH

All six passes were in the 12's and I grabbed 3-4 4th gear chirps in the quarter.

That's not bad at all for not having any hard driving seat time at all! You can only get faster from here.

The manuals certainly seem like they're trapping a good 4mph or so better than the autos. I'm hoping my minimal mods will at least get me to manual times... I think I'm gonna need some DR's to get some decent times out of it because the tune definitely made the shifts harder and traction will probably become an issue.
