From a promotional or advertising point of view which is essentially what a logo is all about I don't think it does the track any justice. My eyes and I'm sure the eyes of many are drawn to the scull as a focal point. It takes some serious looking to actually read what it says. Your business should be what sticks out the most in your logo. You want people to recognize and remember it. While this might look ok on a t-shirt I would not recommend it as an official logo for a business. Make the name the focal point and if you want add some other graphical interest. Sometimes in advertising or promotions less is more. Just think there is a reason the Google home page is as simple looking as it is. They tried "dolling" it up and found that people by and large like the old simple look best. Just some food for thought.
