Just bought the episode and yeah, it was $7000. That car used to be beautiful, my mom had many a street race in it back in the day. Hell, she was driving it when she met my dad. Damned shame that it's gone. I am ashamed to be related to my grandad right now.

I have the same issue with some cars in my family. They'd rather let it sit and Rott instead of letting someone else touch it. My mothers uncle has a yellow 66 chevelle ss 396, that has been sitting for ages and if you even touch it. He gets pissed off and damn near makes you leave his property.

My dad had gotten a yellow Ryder box from a moving truck, and using it for extra storage.. Well my moms uncle was being a smart ass and asking "what do you want for it?" my dad pointed towards the chevelle and said "yellow for yellow". He didnt talk to my dad for about 4 years.
