Kudos to the Dad and his two daughters at K'dale last night

I have three its all about spending time with them and making memories when you can. If you can't get them into your hobbies then get into theirs. Its a sacrifice but well worth ever bit of effort and $$$$$$$$.

Hell, all I could think if I had a girl was I would not potty train her. That way when she went on her first date, she would shit in his car and he would bring her home.

I have not been there in over a year or two. But a guy had his two daughter one 16? and one 8-10 years old. Both driving rail cars. The older girl ran a best of 4.8 @ 140 mph. The other in a jr dragster I think ran an 8.2. Talking about a Dad making the best of a situation. My hat is off to him.

Thanks, Yeah I'm pretty proud of all 3 of my girls. They all started out racing juniors. My oldest is 25 and tore up the junior scene when she was younger too. Between all 3 girls I probably have somewhere in the neighborhood of 100-150 throphys at home. Her husband (Luis94 on here) has a red 94 cobra with a black hood and they were at the cruise in Denton. This racing stuff has been in my blood since before I could drive thanks to my long time friend Duane (Rustang on here) who got me hooked back in high school. My middle daughter (the 17yr. old) has just moved up from juniors and still adjusting to the big car so I've got a throttle stop on it keeping it slowed down for now. Both her and my youngest have won National Championships in Juniors @ Bandimere speedway in Denver and all 3 girls have numerous track championships between Redline, NSD, TXr and even Crandall last year.

For any of you thinking about getting your kid one? Best thing you could ever do. I promise. The family atmosphere is strong with our racing community. You get your kids interested in something and you know where they are every Saturday night instead of wondering who their with or what they're doing.

Did your daughter win the jackpot race? She came down and talked to my wife after she beat her in the second round. My wife was the one in the black mustang. We did not stay until the final race because Shelly had to be at work the next morning. You have a very grown up daughter there.

Small world you being on here. I came in on a motorcycle (cruiser) and was watching a buddy get his car on the track after a 10 year build. We were almost straight across from you in the grass. He had a primer gray 68 camaro with a 540 and two four's sticking out of the hood.

It's not that life sux, it's just a bit more of a challenge. This post was not meant to be a negative in any sense. It was simply a compliment. It is just good to see someone making one hell of an effort to keep the family ties together. For people that have daughters, this is a given. But for the men with boys, this is an inspiration.

I have no problem doing activities with a daughter, but as i found out from the last marriage, I absolutely suck when it comes time for them to date. I went into full defense mode.
