As a side, there was a turbo (or maybe centri blower) viper there. I'm sure my eyes deceived me but I think i saw a 10.2 or 10.3 at 149.9mph? I don't remember the exact time but I'm pretty sure on the mph. I remembered thinking *holy fucking shit*. OH, the viper had street shoes. Might have nitto 555R's but definately not slicks. 150 mph for a street car is hauling

i'll post vids when the girlfriend remembers to send them. My homemade axle back cost about 50 plus a little welding (borrowed buddies welder). Would have been $13 but I bought an extra set of stock mufflers incase I fucked up the original set. I cut the body out of the stock mufflers and welded 3" exhaust tubing in it's place. Used the sidewalls on the originals for their hangers. Sounds pretty good I think most peeps wouldn't like the 2k drone...

yeah, 60's sucked. 2.1x's. couple 2.08's I think.

just double checked. fastest run had a 60' of 2.079 1/8 time was 8.400 @ 89.11

Yeah they do. I have CAI, full exhaust, and tune and took my car to denton friday and the best 60' I could get was a 2.4. I tried everything let air out, go at idle I just couldn't keep from spinning. But here soon I'm getting new wheels and tires and hopefully that will help me. It was pretty funny at the track, I ran a 9.0 in the 1/8th at 92 mph.

these cars don't have enough tire for the motor. What gears do you have? I have the 3.31's... they help in the traction department

how much rpm are you trying to leave at?

The first time about 2500 which was a mistake cause I had a 2.8 60ft. But the rest of the night I left at idle. And the best I could do was 2.4 60ft.

i leave at 1200. Feather it as the RPM's come up and lift shift as quickly as I can. you have be pretty reactionary with the throttle to keep these cars from blowing the tires away off the line.

not that it matters but the stock auto gear is 3.15.

how are you guys in the manual cars shifting with the stock shifter? anytime i tried to get even a little aggressive it had so much slop in it i would miss a gear.
