i haven't ran a 1/4 but i'm pretty sure i'd be firmly in that bracket (street car w/ac here)!

(but i am impressed by this video, might be cause i have a c6 that doesn't do 9's though)

the difference is.. the Zr1 is set up to road race.. you could take that car up to 200 and roll stabley.. and go tear it up on a road course.. vs a 9.9 second stang that would fall over if throwin into a sharp corner to hard and feels like you are going to die at 150 mph...

just sayin..

but it isnt as cool as a 92 fox.

and come on buddy, of course i know that the zr1 does all those things plus runs 9's, i am hoping that i am reading your post to seriously.

and not that it matters since i haven't run a 1/4, but a 6.1 and 117mph trap should be good for quite a bit faster then a 9.999, just sayin!

At 500 rwhp i averaged 29mpg over 2 tanks of 90% freeway..
At 760 rwhp i averaged 23 mpg with 50% freeway and a bunch of spirited driving.. Bumper to bumper killed i..15-20 mpg at just tooling around town... Measured by doing a full tank.. Driving x miles and filling back up..

So a 125k dollar car with probably 10k plus parts in it runs a 9.4 and I'm supposed to be impressed. What is Manny '11 Gt runs on a stock tranny. 9.90's I think? That is impressive.

Found out my Fox body has ran the same 1/8th as this thing. So he's only got me on handling, top end, fuel mileage, comfort, looks, reliability! Almost winning!
