Nice pics. Looking back at photos that I or my family took from The 60's forward, I've determined we all suck at photography.

AIn't me, but I had a pair! the old lady threw them out!! I do have pics of me wearing a pair of Coca Cola pants!

RE: Max Wedge cars--- Have to understand the east coast was known for it's door slammers.. Most all those cars are still around.

Re: Red Pinto- Jimmy Evanuic's car... Gurney-Weslake heads/intake sbf that screamed! Drivetrain was originally in a early mustang...

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Etta Glidden.. she just got done running the valves.. I do have pics of Rusty and Billy from that match race- They might have been 9-10 years old.

            My old beater...

            Right lane...

Here's another... how many of you remember Marv Ripes A-1 Transmissions?? His 57 Stocker

There is a dude that drives around Keller in a ratty, beat up, primered '68 Road Runner sedan.

I followed him into a gas station. I was expecting a straggly haired tweaker looking dude but I was surprised when it was a clean shaven, professional looking older man in a suit. LOL!! Super nice guy, he's had the car for over 30 years and drives it regularly. It's got a 400/727 and was a factory silver 383 car.

Where is this track and does it still exist? I travel a lot for work and see TONS of classics just sitting around collecting rust in fields, etc..

Yep.. back then it was called Keystone Raceway Park. Now it's called Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Located on Route 22 in New Alexandria, Pa.
