pump gas, tags and inspection sticker, street legal tires, all the factory glass and mostly complete interior, mostly stock sheet metal and must be able to actually go further than 5 miles to the nearest gas station without over heating or needing to charge the batteries. AC is a huge plus in my book when considering if a fast car is really a fast street car.

Some of you knew my car, 87 Hatch, 363 dart block Keith Craft motor with powerglide, chute, wheelie bars, and 2 stage NoS with a wilson 2 stage plate and full cage. 1100hp and taged and insp. with ins. Drove it from West Plano to Kellers and back on Sat. nights and to car shows all around dallas. And had a working radio. Even was in the first Pinks all out and made it though 1st round and won 1000. before the Big Block Chevelle took me out in round 2, but that was with the old 347. But all and all I drove it on the street and could have drove it anywhere as long has I could make it between gas stations. And on top of that I always got thumbs up from the Po Po.
So I called it a street car.I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake

Would it be a car you are more then willing to drive everyday to work/job interview without any complaints? Road trip with the wife to visit relatives 100 miles away? Even if it's 105 outside? Pouring down rain?
It's a street car then.
Having a stripped down fox body that is tagged, "inspected", and insured being a street car is BS. That is a race car you made "legal" for the street."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"
