Nope, for sure an AOD. We talked for a while - he had just put the trans back in the car a few days before the race, he burned it up for the 2nd or 3rd time is what he was saying..

        Turbostang:

Nice recap of the event, thanks for sharing.

It was a good time - I enjoyed watching y'all, and was proud to see the N. Texas boys take the win!

I hafta say, though, that it's a shame that the Capri won't be back. Will look forward to seeing the other car, though.

Perhaps you will consider making the trip to Bradenton for the big race. There may be several new cars there that are capable of 7 second performance. I think the quick 16 may be very quick!

        Best of luck,

        Tom

Thanks Tom! I can't say for sure that the Capri won't be back, there's talks of a 25.5 upgrade already if the other car doesn't meet the rules, but obviously that's all up to Tony. It's his checkbook taking the hit, not mine!

I dont think we have any better than low .20's in the capri, but that's hard to say for sure. Now, the coupe, should be around a half second faster...it is nearing completion as we speak - I'm in the 95% range of bieng done. We'll be just in time to make some late season hits and check it over in the cold months and be ready for spring time.

I had no idea that maroon LX used to be your car, that thing is NICE.

yeh the Maroon LX is one of the cleanest around. Brent has got it running really well. We both will be hitting the Bradenton race for sure. By then "Sully" should be all tuned in ready for TS.

Manny put the good tune on it Thursday afternoon, and I laid down the cash to take it off of Randy's hands that evening......Had a great time down there and looking forward to the Bradenton event and hope to get some more track time before then.....as this past weekend, those were my first passes down a track....I'm sure it's got some better ET's in her and time will tell.

You did fine for your first passes. You'll only get better from here on out.
