Got there at 6:10p and was broke by 6:20p. Tranny go boom on 1st to 2nd shift.
Last time I ran it in cool weather though, it went 6.98 on motor and .33 on the hose, so I'll go with that

pfft.. nothing but problems for the truck for me.
Dyno'd it the day before, made a whopping 255 RWHP with the 650 carb. Ran it that night and went a string of 8.0's
Saturday morning, I changed to my badass QFT Annular 750 carb.. Ran a best of 8.14 - then Mike McGee took over and ran some .20's.
Looks like I have the advance mechanism too tight, or it's sticking - it kept backfiring through the carb over and over. Really aggrivating.
Looks like the 350 is going bye-bye for a 5.3L

I have a buddy that will be selling his 5.3 out of his truck when he puts the 6L in. not sure how long that will be though. maybe a month or two.
