      That still doesn't make any since unless his car is running like shit until he breaks 4500 rpm. He is only going to be 350lbs heavier than you. Weight isn't as relevant to a race once you're moving, especially that small amount.
      hes at 3050 im at 3450 with me in it. im 200 lbs. he has underdrive, shortbelt, and E-fans..... i think he just is in a better spot in his rpm band with that stock cam and it raps up quicker with those mods... im just not a fan of what i have in my car and i do think it was running like shit... thats why its being changed

        Stock cams do make good low end torque, but that's from 1200-2700 rpms. Anything with more horsepower should technically pull waaaaaay harder from 3000 on.

        What is your combo anyway?

        • ya youd think so wouldnt ya....a 1993 cobra motor, Stock heads and intake, maf, and tb. E cam, exhaust, and 3.73s.

          • You should have pulled away from the get go. I bet it runs pig rich.

            Has it ever been tuned?

            Personally, I would swap in some four hole 19lb injectors to get back some of your torque and get it tuned.

            You could take an extra step and have your heads milled to bump compression and take advantage of that cam.

            What exhaust?

            What are you changing too?

                          • Im just assuming due to the smell lately and the plugs we just pulled out of it....again, im not worried about the issues now since it will be getting replaced

                              I bet mikes stocker will win or come close in stock form. I'd say hci with no question, especially at the track.
