    Lol, yeah.

What's sad is some new cars can't run that.

With some better tires I should be a little quicker.

Don't mess with the drag springs. Throw some fresh 4-cylinder springs in it and an anti-roll bar, along with whatever control arms you choose.

Why a no on the springs? I already have them, they're just sitting in the garage.

Last time I mentioned an anti roll bar I got flamed for not needing it with stock power.

For the longest time it said twin screw. And now it's twin turbo screw.

Nice job for a true to form stock 5.0l. I hate skinny people. That car wouldn't run under a 9.0 with me in it.

i wouldn't think a anti roll bar would be good for a daily not sure just what i would think!

Heck yeah, my goal for this car is to see how quick this little motor will get me.

I was thinking of a motor swap, but my plans have went back to what I've wanted to do for a while.

I want to put better valve springs and some roller rocker arms just to gain a few hp if any. Main thing is springs I know after 20 years theyve seen thier better days. Contemplating a set of equal length shorties to. Other then that I think I'll be okay.

Weight makes all the differance when horsepower is absent!

I work 3 miles from home, live 4 miles from the store and 1 mile from the nearest gas station. 10 miles if that from the track.

I could care less about drivability. The only time my car sees over 45mph is the highway and the track. Lol.

If you've already got a set laying around, slap 'em on and see what happens. I had a set with an airbag in the right rear and it couldn't touch the short times I cut with stock 4-cylinder springs and a Team Z ARB. From what I've learned, I'd use two regular springs and an ARB, instead of one spring trying to have more preload on it.

I'd throw an ARB on a stock mustang just as fast as I would a 5-second mustang. If the NMRA still has a factory stock class, take a look at their suspension parts. You'll want a properly set up suspension, no matter what the power level.

There may be a streetable ARB available these days. If not, just disconnect the linkage on the bar and let it hang until you get to the track. You can bolt it back together and vice versa in seconds. The deal with the ARB on the streets isn't a mileage or mph problem. It's driving up ramped driveways, hills, anything that puts the car off level, that puts the ARB in a bind and tears it up.

Properly set your suspension and I bet your old, wore out slicks magically come back to life.
