What's up with the (near) stock power?

Stock all the way from throttle body, intake, heads, headers, block, internals ect..
No more clutch fan, no more cats and I doubt my short ram intake tube helped in power lol.

Great times for a stock motor car, and 80mph, that motor is still making good power. Honestly I would run skinnies and some new 26x8 slicks unless you plan on really upping the power. Way less rotating mass and more grip. Get some good control arms (I always used megabyte jr lowers)and you shouldn't need any more than the factory rear sway bar to pull 1.6's. Cheapo replacement rear shocks and some 90/10's up front would plant the tires really well. I've had a few low 8 second cars that would put a little light under the front left tire with that setup.
