I've always wanted to know how my Cobra stacked up against a 99-04 GT.
So tonight I got that chance. I was driving around in somewhere in mexico, when a silver GT pulled alongside. It just so happened that It was my friend's brothers friend so I knew he was DTR. His car has Exaust and intake I believe. We happened to get stopped at a light, and at green, we took off. My launch was pretty solid considering its freezing outside I didn't spin very much, and neither did he. He came out inches in front through first gear ( My tires break loose around 6k and I shifted too early.) but as soon as I caught in second, his dreams were over. I pulled a car and a half, then he shifted to third Oh hail 4valves I still had powerband left! this time my shift to third was beautifully placed at the redline and by this time I would say I was at least three cars down the road. Good feeling to win. Isn't it always?
I will be down to race ya at the cruise
99 Mustang Project JSTA2V
going from really slow to just alittle slow
I still say it's nice to see a race in the damn racing forum. Kudo's to you. What does that Cobra run in the 1/8th? I might give you a good run in my truck. (did not say I would win, just a good run)

I've never been to the track with it. But i plan on it soon.

Best I ever did in my truck was a 9.143. Which is not bad for a 4 door 5300 lb truck with only a drop in K&N filter. So now you have something to shoot for.
Disclaimer: It depends on if I can get my one wheel peel to hook up
