  • Full size truck guys

Took my truck to the track tonight, 2011 Silverado CC w / 6.2. Rated 403 fwhp, I dunno the torque. Has factory 22" wheels with Pirrelli tires, k & n cai and tuned by Sam. Has 2900 miles on the odometer.

    60ft 2.19
    330 ft 5.989
    1/8 9.08
    Mph 79.01
    1000ft 11.800
    1/4 14.071
    MPh 99.01

It'd spin the tires pretty bad on the 1-2 shifts, I ran three back to back passes and it ran this every time. I'm impressed

A good set of wheels and tires and that heavy thing would be well in the thirteens. Very nice.

That is stout for a Vortec 6.2 Silverado with just a tune!

I'm gonna put a Ls9 cam in and a D1 next with the supporting mods. I think it'll run some mid 12's. It probably makes around 370 to the wheels, going for 600. Might be gay but I wanna put Zr1 badges on it as well. People are gonna be like wtf??

About a second slower if its stock with a stock tune. A good 93 octane tune is worth .7 and about 6 mph. The K&N will only gain .1 and 1 mph.

If you would put some headers on the truck it would pick up another .3 and 2-3 mph. If you put a ls9 cam in it and remove the VVT it would gain another .3 and 2 mph but I can get a VVT cam core gound on the same specs as an Ls9 cam (or bigger) it would gain even more. The new 2011 truck pcm's have more control over the VVT retard and advance tables for the cam.
The DA was 2650 last night at 10:00.

Zr1 badges are gay and you are still slower than my Duramax.

                          Wow!!

Impressive times and MPH for your limited mods!! I have played with a couple of stock ones with my 2011 F150 with the 5.0 and I would pull on them slightly and I only pull 76 MPH in the 1/8th.

Guess I am gonna have to spend a few dollars to keep up!!LOL

Nice numbers, Pitch some drag radials on her and you should make 8's & 13's easy.
