I broke the 8s all night!

Old dry worn out 26x11.5 slicks starting at 20psi, worked my way down to 12.5psi. Couldn't get it to stop spinning out of the hole, but was impressed with the car.

First pass 3k rpm launch.
1.97 60ft
8.85 @ 78.4

I got it down to a 8.80 @ 78 with a 1.93 60ft. Chirping every gear

With some decent slicks, I'd expect a low 8.7.

Stock suspension and subframe connectors.

Launching with slicks is a totally differant feeling and I like it. I won't be making anymore street tire passes.

When I hit 4th, it feel on its face for sec. Would have been about 82mph.
We need a 1/4 mile cruise. Your coupe runs good man!

I forgot to bring my VHT . We could have stopped that spinning . You should coat them and let them sit till your next track day .

A lot of room for improvement on that 60ft, like I said it was spinning it's ass off.

You said they were old and dry , that makes a huge differance . Thats why the VHT would help . It will make them soft and stickey again .

What did you end up running. I wanted to come yesterday. I actually bought a 90 Hatchback, Feels like a low 9sec car. But has COLD AC & 3.08 gears. I thought about you when I bought it cause I of your coupe. I think my first mod is going to be a Supercharger. If I can find one for cheap

not to bad, 8.93 at 82mph. 60ft 2.14. That still sucks but its the best to date. Need to get it tuned right, and some suspension mods.
