no idea about track temps but i saw on the news normal road temps can get as high was 142* on bridges & overpasses. 138* on normal streets
I was at Kennedale a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday and before they started racing the sprayed down the track with water with a truck and fire hose to cool off the track since it was so hot outside. It worked, the track was hooking and the water didn't stay on long but it did its job by cooling the track down. Im not sure if North Star does that or not but it wouldn't hurt.

Larry is actually the one that started that at TXR about 20 years ago.
I'm always down. As long as the car is running, have water and sun screen. Could care less bout the heat. Yeah it suxs but it is apart of it. And of course my dad and shelly will be out there running their cars too. Don't let alittle heat scare u away
