Go to the TCEQ website and they have pages of enforcement actions against racetracks where people call in because of smoke. Or noise. They had one on there for the Kennedale track where they investigated them because there is a drain at the starting line for the water from the burnout box. It is a great waste of taxpayer dollars investigating nonsense like that.

Just for grins I read the MSDS for Trackbite, I guess you could sue the tracks for allowing it to runoff if you really wanted to. Isopropanol and naptha are toxic.

Unfortunately the TCEQ operates like other state/local agenices and when some moron complains - they have to send someone out to investigate.

My exGF works for them(not in enforcement) and she tells me all about the stupidity they get called for.

It's too close to Ennis, and Ennis already pulls all the big events. Also, Crandall isn't near a damn thing, so no one goes to it.

Crandall is a badass track, and built with the racer and spectator in mind. To me, it seems to be more poorly managed than anything. Racers will drive, they just need a reason to go (shows, money etc)
