Yes I understand that, BUT nobody would think there would have been that much traffic on a Saturday afternoon. For the guys coming from the west side of the metroplex its already a long drive.

I'm working like hell to be at the next one. There was a lot of shit to fix after the wreck, I took this week off to try and finish it all up, we'll see.

I'm not bashing you. I was just saying that guys here complain about the drive but our buddy Marcus drove in from Midland. What about his drive? We used to drive 5 hours to race here and laughed at the meeting at the first of the year because the metroplex guys where complaining about the drive to Crandall and now you see guys from Midland and Houston driving in and the local guys staying at home.

          275 rules

We would make all of them, If the rules would allows us to race. I don't understand the stupid head rules and bullshit "billet impellers" adding extra weight. Just adopt the east coast x275 rules and maybe you can get some more cars. People are so hung up on this Yates or Brodix Neal head thing. These heads must be magic or the best heads ever freakin made and if you have them on a "forced inducted car" you are Guaranteed victory.LOL
That's what the rules make it sound like. The sad thing is there are inline heads that work as well, if not better than my 12yr old nascar take-offs. Oh well !rules are rules and you have to abide by them even if you don't like them. Not to worry, we have a new motor that is legal and will be put in the car very soon. Just have to make some new headers and y-pipe.
I sure hope we will be able to keep up with everybody.Travis

I'm not complaining about the drive or saying that's why I didn't go. What I'm saying is that I had sat in the shit twice already and was to tired to go or deal with it again. Had I known ahead of time that a bunch of people I know would have been there I would of left directly from work ( our office is at Buckner and I30).

I'm not afraid to drive to go racing, I drove to Noble last month to help BoostedGt, after I had been at work since 3am. A good friend of mine is building a Limited Street type car and we are going to have to go to Houston and Arkansas just to have a place to race.

I'm sure living in Midland and Abilene, you are used to having to drive to race, the guys around here are used to taking a 10 min trip to Kdale to race, so 2 hrs in a haul for them.

Open the rules up. I wouldnt mind if they used Bigchiefs rules from across the river and just make the 275's the limiting factor. Heck, change some of his weights if they dont look right but at least open up the combination rules. WE NEED CARS.

If the rules are open how many more cars will it bring every race? What is different from tex275 vs moss rules. No matter what you do Oklahoma will not come down to support tex275. There are several car up there that still won't come down even though they run on a 275. I think by the next race we will have 16 cars or more. Several that was not at this race cause cars being down. Names of the ones I know Bigshoe, John mathis, david walker, Greg moss, Andy parks, plus I don't know the status of a few others that run with us or will manny, cj petty, the blue mustang Brooks tunes. That is just 8 local cars I know of. Plus Benny, Cedric, and Darrel are still building there cars back. Get all theses cars all together we will have 20 cars

They may not come but if you make their combos legal then they have no excuses. The sbf head deal is a big one. Let us run the yates heads and add weight everyone else. The power adder guys want them for the clamping force not the flow. Our old victor heads flow a lot more than these old nascar take offs.

Just looking for ways to get this thing going. It's too good to let die.
