Different how, also what on the alternator you think the heat is gonna kill it.
Different, than how most are done - that exhaust routing will kinda paint you into a corner, so to speak.
Yes, the heat will kill that alternator in a short time. Not to mention, that alternator will not like running all that electronic equipment (assuming it's the stock type alternator)
Its just a one wire alternator from summit but yea I killed plenty with the nitrous setup so it doesn't stand a chance now, but by the time its race ready it would probably have a 16v setup on it
On the tubing I like the cold side routed threw the fender then 90 it into the car so its easier to take off the valve covers and have way more room to work on it plus I have the inter-cooler in the dash because I didn't want tubing all over the interior, the hot side yes its a bitch because I am still running a radiator and alternator so i have both in the way and a crank pulley. What is chris doing for a alt on his car because I still plan on driving mine on the street.
Chris still has an alternator for now, but it may or may not stay in place. EFI car, I'd keep an alternator at all costs, unless it was alchohol and belt driven fuel pump.
find out tonight..havent had it out in a l o n g time. hopefully the gears and new glide and transbrake will do me some good. turning it down till i find out what it acts like out of the hole on the spray with transbrake
