  • The racing community has lost another great (LOCAL) person - Lynn Nickerson

Some of you may know Lynn, some probably dont. He was one of the best announcers you'd ever see at a racetrack, one of the most cordial people to talk to and just all around great guy.

Keep his family in your thoughts in this terrible time.

Lynn was a great person. I always thought he could make any racer sound like a world champ when he was on the air...

I will always think of him every time I go to the Texas Motorplex. It will never be the same. I am so glad I talked to him the last time I raced at Ennis. I like to think he was a friend to me.
    Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

I liked that guy I can remember when he interviewed Malouf after one of the KOTH races.

Lynn has been a family friend for as long as I can remember. Growing up with Texas motocross, he always had a smile on his face and never a bad thing to say about anyone. RIP Lynn

Even though my stint in the Stock class was short lived years ago, he remembered me when I bumped into him last fall. It looked like his health had improved and I was saddened when I found out it had taken a down turn.
