Faceplate a tr 3650

My Tremec 3650 doesn't like to shift under load. Especially when the 150 shot hits. I get locked out of 2 and 3 until the r's come way down. Read about the face plating process. Who can do this? Should the input shaft be beefed for this?

Help a brother out please.
