    Anyone here any good at it? I had planned to build my own kit but it is a little more than what I am capable of, plus i have no welder or other fab tools. What would someone charge me if I supply all parts (just labor)? Single, non-intercooled kit on a 66 Mustang.

            The ONLY reason I'd consider NOT running an intercooler is if you were strictly going to run E85.


            Running a carb is not enough of a reason to NOT run an intercooler, the IAT's would still be 200* plus under the carb I bet. A decent ebay intercooler kit WITH tubing is only ~200$. If that is a deal breaker, you're not ready anyways - the fuel and ignition system will be a LOT more than that.

                yup, in Texas heat, I'd be running some sort of intercooler!

                Hell, even if its not in Texas I'd be running one!

                  I guess my main need of help would be on the hot side. I looked at running log headers bu the biggest tube that'll fit between my towers would be about 2".

                      Fuel system....That's no lie. Lol I am still considering an intercooler with the E85.
