My First Tries at Powder Coating

I think I am going to powder coat some of the engine pieces and brackets on my 347 build. These are a few parts laying around to practice on.

First is an old manifold off a 302. All I did was glass blast and shoot with chrome.




Next is a thermostat housing. I think I cooked it too hot.


A power steering bracket off an Explorer. I love the color changing on the metal flake!


The last is the chromed manifold with Red Candy.



These pictures just do not do justice to the colors!!

I have a free oven and a $69 gun and $200 sand-blasting cabinet from Harbor Freight!
