Exactly. I've been around CNC machines for a while. This is a highly specialized machine, not exactly what you would want to spend your money on. You can get desktop high speed mills that will do all of this, but just take a little longer. A CNC laser cutter like this one would be used most likely as a prototyper for a large corporation making a product that is very intricate, where they would need to pump out 100-200 one-offs every few days. It's probably slowed down considerably, most laser cutters like this operate at 10x the speed, so fast you can't even see what the fuck is going on - dropping product like a machine gun.

If I had one of those machines, I would be in Federal Prison for making illegal gun parts (machine guns, silencers, etc...)
