It wasn't really a tap, but it was a threadmill. I had already ordered them by the time I mentioned it I think.

I see, I have a couple thread mills laying around 3/8 and up... next time shoot me a PM, and I might have that junk laying around. I been looking at an old Hurco myself, so this is great seeing you make the big step... gives me quite the motivation.

For me, it's interesting, fun, challenging etc. It keeps me captivated from the time I turn it on, to the time I turn it off.

Yes, I do all my own work. Design, Drawings, machining etc.

I would be interested in knowing if you can make a set of brackets for putting 13" rotors on the rear of a 2012 stang.

Dylan, I'm sure I could - it's just a matter of time. I have a ton of 'little' stuff I'm working on and it's tough to break away for a 'bigger' project.

Nope, I still own it - it's behind me in those pics. It's actualy a bigger machine. I have all of the electronics and they've been wired up. I just wanted warranty, and no troubleshooting so I could 'hit the ground running'.

If you want to get rid of it , I'm interested

I haven't had a lot of time to work on this thing, but so far I've made a few parts. But nothing major.

The first 'big' part is a billet throttle body elbow, one that I'll likely make more of and sell at some point. Anyways, here's the teaser.

The elbows will be slick, they just take some time to make. I have to order the cutters this weekend and then make the initial part out of wood (I don't trust my programming 100% at this time, lol).

I can make those other parts, I just don't know what it would cost. It's likely to be something like cheaper to make 20, than 1.

I bet that I could get 20 guys to go in on them if they fit and were secure. I got a set off of amazon, they are pretty much rip off's but the quality is pretty crummy and the fit is a little loose. The screws just don't clamp down very tight. But if you are willing, I can probably get quite a few sold depending on what you'd want for them.

Are you still using this machine? Any thoughts on it? I have converted a small X2 type machine and have been playing on it for awhile and turned out a few things.
