Man I'm just messing with you. Got to looking at my car and I believe it is not a good "first time" project car to turbo. Too much stuff in the way and too many other things to upgrade to make it a whole package.

It's alive, but there's a whole bunch of stuff left to do.
*relocate FPR and hook up reference line
*relocate / mount coil
*relocate / mount starter solenoid
*repaint downpipe (used the 350* paint on accident, cans look the same!)
*convert radiator to -16 fittings
*finish exhaust
*build rear end
*convert carb to blowthrough
I'll likely finish the exhaust to the belhousing area - it's not needed (right now), since after I dyno it - the car's coming apart for the cage, sfc's, and probably fuel tank and maybe a water tank.
Here's the startup video:

are wiggins really necessary at low boost? seems like v-bands will work great

Turbostang - nice work, and thanks for sharing the story and pictures. It helps motivate some of us! Look forward to seeing more about this car.

I figured anything under 40psi was a cake-walk
my buddy's drag truck is all v-band on the cold side

V-bands work great, I was referring to the silicone connectors and T-bolt clamps on the cold side. It would be sweet with some wiggins on the cold side. But the Retainer lugs should work pretty damn good too.07 GT500
