They are tied to the transbrake. You also have to use the brake to backup, so the lights work like they should.

It's been like that for a while, and it never affected me staging, so I didn't bother correcting it.

I am relatively sure it's the BRPV's that are adjusted kinda low. One opens around 2.5psi and the other around 7psi.

If I corrected them to more like 7psi and 9psi, that problem would probably go away.. but that won't matter any more with EFI.
