Would a loop have helped contain the damage? Did it have one? Mine's sitting on my workbench at home and I'm NOW thinking I need to get that sucker installed STAT!

I always thought that a DS loop was intended to keep the DS from "catapulting" a moving car, should it break anywhere but the at the diff. It obviously wouldn't actually toss the car in the air, but breaking at the tranny at speed would send the DS into the cabin.

I just figured it would keep it from spinning in a wider circle if something did break.

A driveshaft broken at the front sure can polevault a car into the air.

Saw the Judge this weekend... in fact, saw it almost hit some kids while doing a burnout through an intersection

Damn that sucks man! I saw your car up at Brians shop when I dropped my 3rd Gen up there to get exhaust put on! Thats a clean car & I agree on the 6spd conversion

Not really your fault... they were standing at the corner while they had the chance to cross, but waited until the lights started changing to make their move... they were pretty close to you when you hit it lol
