well I got a few little things done tonight. I took the gauge cluster apart because it needed a new circuit board on the back (its one of those laminated type) while I had it out I went ahead and took it all apart and cleaned everything. It looks WAY better. I think I am going to order a new clear plastic lens because its scratched up a little bit but not bad
this is the old circuit board
the pod on the far right is a blank in this car, some cars had a clock. I used this pod for the 2 5/8 boost gauge. I think it turned out pretty nice. It is the closest gauge I could find to match the stock gauges.
I did some other little stuff that isn't very interesting so I didn't take pics.. hopefully tomorrow night a lot more will get done.

Chris, this thing is coming along really nice man. One of these days, hopefully this coming(2011)year, I'm going to start on the 65 and I hope it turns out as nice as this one is.
I recondition headlights on most cars for $50.00. If interested shoot me a pm.

Thanks Christian, I'm trying to do everything right and spend the extra cash here and there to make it really nice. Time is killing me though. We wanted to drive it to the car show on New Years day but we still have a bit of work ahead of us so it really all depends on how late I can keep John up to work on the car lol.
I've already told my wife I'm working all night every night on the car to try to get it done so she only expects to see me a few minutes a day haha
the big things left are run the wiring harness which shouldnt' be bad since I bought an after market stand along harness. its basically plug everything up then run a hot, ground, and key on.
then I still need to install the fuel filters and pump
want to change the rear end before I get a drive shaft made just because I know that if I get one cut right now, my luck it will need to be modified for the new rear end (this is something I have to research today.... I'm going from a 7.5 10 bolt to a 8.2 (yes 8.2 not 8.5)
if anyone wants to come to Johns to lend a hand feel free haha
