Don't know who this guy is or what angle he's going at Brooks but Kevin Self is a really nice guy though and he does do good work from stuff I have seen.

Self's always had a good reputation for performance engine building. Also, a buddy had him do a motor and Self made a mistake with a clearance somewhere. He told him he'd make it right or give his money back, he opted for money and Self handed him the full $9+ K no questions. He used to have a rep for making awesome power with the v-6's also.

He had a inline 6 out of trailblazer up there the other day said it made 1200hp with what looked like a pretty good size turbo.
