            so DTP got a Dyno Jet now?

            They used to have one of those inertia dynos with the twin-drum rollers (i think JPC uses the one) and it always read super low. I dont think it was a Mustang Dyno, but i could be mistaken. i left the 757 before DTP was king of the hill...they were just barely getting started when i left. Ill be honest...out of all the performance shops up there, im somewhat surprised they came out on top while the rest closed their doors.

              Yeah, DTP is def king of the hill. Brent has become a damn good tuner. But there were a lot of shops here 6 years ago, and they are about the only domestic one left. Well them and VA speed. But I asked them how much they would charge to weld in an o2 sensor bung if I brought them the pipe and they told me around $175. I told them to go f themselves, lol. But Jay from JLT likes to do the tuning and dyno runs close to his shop and all aspects is right beside his shop so Brent from DTP just comes over there to tune Jay's project's. Why were you in the 757? Military?

                    yeah it was my first duty station...also where i got my first mustang and got into racing (both track and street). i learned a lot out there...back when i was there it was "the big 3"...Steen Racing, MAS Racing and Holeshot/Street Motorsports.
                    i figured of the 3 MAS would've made it....they had a pretty loyal crew.

                      Yep, when I first got out here I dealt with steen. Well, I got bent over by steen. I can't stand that MFer. As for MAS, they were still around when I got here too. Was traffic that shitty here back when you first got here?

                        lol it was pretty bad, but now looking back, only in the morning and afternoon was really bad...and of course tunnel traffic.
                        other than that, traffic wasnt too bad. not like here where you find yourself in a parking lot only to find the reason was...a wreck?..no...someone broke down?..no...nothing?...yes!

                        as for Steen...the dealings with him i had, though few, were good. i think his problem was his place grew too quick...too much demand and not enough quality mechanics=shoddy work. they started taking shortcuts and "rigging" things instead of just taking a bit longer and doing it right.

                        that and most of those guys truly have no business sense...theyre wrench turners and thats it. they didn't know how to step back and run the business they kept turning wrenches and that killed it too. i know. i saw it first hand at Holeshot/SMS

                              You are actually getting 6-7% Negative Correction on you Dyno #s

                              The software accounts for the extra cold air and calculates a correction factor. With the way your temps are calculated its actually showing lower #s.

                                So are you saying it's really making closer to 650? Regardless, the ol' butt dyno isn't used to what it has now, so I'm good with wherever it's at now. Just curious why it has the correction factor.
