roger that... My MO is to buy right and sell when depreciation meets up with what I paid. Doesn't always pan out perfectly like that, but I've been driving "free" trucks (or close to it) for the better part of a decade.

The thought of a vehicle being worth half what I paid just doesn't sit well with me. The one vehicle that came close to that was the 98 I used as my service truck. I had it for a year and a half and in that year and a half, the value of diesel trucks tanked. I paid $11k and sold it for $6500, BUT my company was leasing it from me for $750/mo for the 18 months I worked there... so I had already banked $13,500 on it

got to run the truck during the dfwmustang cruise (or after it). Truck ran a 9.76@73.2mph which i think is pretty fast for a truck

ya, my first run was a fox body and i ran a 9.9, next i asked if he wanted to run and first run was a 9.7, ran again after i won and he ran a 9.7 and i ran a 9.8

I brake boosted it that pass too about 1400rpm then the next pass i did it too 2000rpm and spun like a mother fucker running a 9.8
