97 cobra: Eaton swap or Vortech kit?

  • I've been looking over google and I can't really find a good parts list.

    I know I need need:

    Eaton Supercharger and pulley
    Whole Intercooler setup?
    A new throttle body and plenum?

    03/04
    03/04 CAI?
    03/04 heads ( reusing my cams)
    03/04 lower intake
    03/04 39# injectors
    A coolant crossover
    SVT Focus Fuel pump
    90mm Maf - Do I need it?
    Dyno tune

    This is the list I pulled from another board, Ford prices are included. I figure finding a parting out 03 may help lol

    Crank pulley/harmonic balancer $225.00

    • Everywhere I look people are saying this swap cost $6000? what gives? I figure:

      $450 eaton
      $400 lower intake
      $200 for bare 03 heads
      $60 SVT focus pump
      $100 03 injectors
      Around $1000 ^ for all the smaller stuff up there, and cheaper if it is found used
      $200 for a dyno tune

      which is around $2500...

        Ive got the heads you need also a stock mach 1 intake if you want to just swap to na first while you buy the rest of the eaton parts

              IMO you will just end up spending more money in the long run but do what ever you want.
