This was on the stock long block though, with hypereutectic pistons, and the dyno graph showed showed a safe A/F.
Regardless of why it went, trannys and rear-ends don't need a bad tune to blow, and aren't cheap to fix. Especially when you're relying on Christmas and birthday money for funding, and are off at college and don't have a garage to do the work yourself. My point is, that when making higher power levels shit can go wrong when you drive it hard. Hell, even having to replace a clutch can put you in a bind in the above mentioned living situation.
I'm not saying not to to it, I just want him to be mindful that moding your only car on a limited budget can put you in a bind way worse than if it can sit in the garage for a few weeks or months. Money wasn't an issue for me, but getting to work sure was.

Just an FYI, your car if not already a money pit will become an endless one after this...
Also, I would not do a blower upgrade w/o brakes as well. Make sure they are solid. Street driving or not, helping negate brake fade is priceless. I'm not sure what your car has on it, but upgrading to the 00R brakes was nice on my '03 GT (Mustang).Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
