Well, if you still have it in a couple months I will buy it.

Edit: looks too expensive to convert.

They make an Eaton kit for 2V's but not for B-headed 4V's as far as I know.

It's all expensive man, a cam swap on one of those is no cheap/easy task, no reason to be scared of a dry nitrous setup. A 70hp dry shot is pretty safe as long as you fuel pump and supporting hardware is up to par.

Do you realize how much a cam swap will cost you if you take it to a shop? What cams are you looking at?

My dad has done a few cams in his day and he will do it, but it he never has time. I'm sure we could tackle the labor. Especially with help from the board/ internet write up.

I know how much. Greenbullitt gave me a price, but for that I'd rather take a few days to tackle it with my dad.

Your Dad ever worked on a modular motor before?

Nope. but there are a good amount of detailed write ups, as well as the manual. and bluecouperedvert. together we could get it done. I read somewhere that replacing the valve springs is the most difficult part, and the stage 1 cam doesn't require it.

There is a guy in the McKinney area that has a blue S197 with thumper cams and a blower...he's losing boost because the cams have too much overlap.
