carb rebuild suggestions on cleaning gasket material??

rebuilding a marine holley and the gaskets are stuck on the metering block and main body pretty good. I have been soaking them in mineral spirits and it is still a very tedious job.

Any suggestions on other chemicals to take off these old gaskets.

I am using a sharp phenolic scraper.

Get the gallon of carburetor soak at Oreillys it will eat anything.
