  • 347 oil weight

    Has 10k on her and wanna know what is the best oil weight (synthetic) to put in it. This is a street truck that will be driven a few times a week. Thanks!

    15w-50 mobil 1 thats what jim told me to run in my 302 and that what he run's

          Depends on how tight the clearances were when building it.

              I told you to run this because of the age and condition of your motor . It work well right ? The gauge on tanner's truck bugs us but its an electric and the pressure rises with rpm but it seems way low at idle for a motor with so few miles . I am going to hook up a mechanical today and see what it does . Cj says he runs 5-20 but I think thats a little thin , I run that in my 4.6 but most of my pushrod motors I run 30 or better .
