86 window question.

I have a 86 coupe I need all the window weather stripping and stuff that goes all round the windows. My question is what is the diff. Between 86 and 87-93. Cause late model sells a complete kit for the 87-93 but not for 86. Can I just convert it all to 87 style. And if so what else would I need to buy to make it look right. Tia

I don't know an exact answer but you will find that alot with an 86. And sometimes the guys you can talk to on the phone about it will say it is the same only to find out its not. I had it happen with the carpet on my hatch

Yea I know I think the only diff is the door panel trim and door itself by the mirror are the main difference. Idk

The trim on the outside dew strip is different also .
