  • upr rear coil over, should the sleeve be loose

I just got a rear coilover kit from upr. The one that bolts in stock shock location. I got it for the lakewood rear shocks. When I put it together today the slev is realy loose on the shock body. I would think it should be pretty snug but mabe I'm wrong.

Ill call them tomorrow but just curious if anyone has any insight before I do. Thanks in advance. Oh and its a 89

A piece of tubing and 4 tabs !
    About $15.00 worth of parts.
Are you saying its loose from side to side ?
It may need small spacers ????

No its a little more than that...I'm talking about the sleeve that slides over the shock and is threaded on the out side, thebody of the tube has a bearing and race machined into the top of it. this the part that sits on the top of the shock to support the sleeve on the shock. This sleeve has two orings on the inside of the sleeve to reduce movment on the sock body. We'll that sleeve isn't snug to the shock. It has a lot of slack as I can wiggle the sleeve back and forth more than I think I should be able to

They use the same type in dirt track.
Once it on and loaded it "should" be fine.
        Can you post pics ?
