What would it cost for a dealer to cut the key

last time I checked with a dealer it was about 100-150 a key plus an hour labor to program it. Some dealers require that you bring the vehicle to them.

But save yourself the trouble. Most locksmiths can cut and program keys cheaper. Call around and see what they say.

Probably would be best to call the dealer?

you can always bypass that chip with an (8 ohm as i remeber ) resistor in the steering column and just get a regular key cut
